Wildfire Watchdog

Terms of Service

Watchdog Dashboard / App · Effective: October 4, 2026
  1. The Service. The Wildfire Watchdog dashboard and app (“Service”) lets you monitor and control compatible Wildfire Watchdog equipment over the internet. It is provided by Wildfire Watchdog LLC, Bend, Oregon.
  2. Not an emergency service. The Service is NOT a fire-protection, life-safety or alarm service and is not monitored by anyone. It does not replace evacuation orders, fire departments or insurance. Never rely on it as your only means of protecting people or property.
  3. Remote start is your responsibility. When you start equipment remotely you confirm the area is clear and the equipment is in safe condition. You are responsible for who has access to your account and for all commands sent from it. Use a strong password and do not share it. Every command is recorded with the account, time and IP address that sent it (see the Privacy Policy). Commands that can start a pump engine ask you to confirm first, and each device accepts at most 6 commands a minute; further commands are refused until the minute is up.
  4. Availability. The Service depends on your internet, Wi-Fi, power and our hosting. It may be unavailable at any time, including during wildfires, outages or maintenance. Keep the manual controls on the equipment accessible.
  5. Your data. Device readings, commands, account details and (if you enable them) notification subscriptions are stored to run the Service, as described in the Privacy Policy. Device readings are kept for 365 days (12 months), then deleted automatically.
  6. Accounts. One account per customer. On the Account page you can change your password, download your account and device data, and delete your account (which permanently removes it and your devices’ data and disconnects the devices). You can also email admin@wildfirewatchdog.com; we’ll handle it within 30 days. Passwords must be at least 10 characters. After 5 failed sign-in attempts, sign-in is locked for 15 minutes. Changing your password signs you out on every device. We may suspend accounts that abuse the Service.
  7. Text alerts. Optional. If you add a mobile number and consent on your Account page, we text you the alerts you chose (at most 10 per hour). Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Texts can be delayed or not delivered; carriers are not liable for that, and texts are not a substitute for watching your equipment. See Text message alerts.
  8. Changes. We may update the Service and these terms; continued use after notice is acceptance.
  9. Liability. To the extent permitted by law, WW’s total liability for the Service is limited to the fees you paid for it in the prior 12 months, and WW is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including fire damage. Oregon law governs.
